Terms of Service

Effective date: August 2026
Platform operator: trading as FlightPosts ("FlightPosts", "we", "us"), part of the iDrone Corp group.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the FlightPosts website, platform and related services (the "Platform"). By creating an account, submitting a pilot request, or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1. Definitions

  • "Business" — a person or organisation that submits a Pilot Request or engages drone services through the Platform.
  • "Pilot" — an independent, CASA-licensed remote pilot approved to appear on the Platform.
  • "Pilot Request" — a request submitted by a Business describing drone work it needs performed.
  • "Engagement" — a specific job matched and confirmed through the Platform between a Business and a Pilot.
  • "Deliverables" — data, imagery, footage, reports or other outputs produced under an Engagement.
  • "Content" — anything uploaded to the Platform, including profiles, portfolios, job details and Deliverables.

2. What FlightPosts Does

FlightPosts operates a managed marketplace for drone services. We:

  • receive Pilot Requests from Businesses;
  • verify Pilot credentials as described in clause 5;
  • match Requests with suitable Pilots and coordinate confirmation of Engagements;
  • issue quotes and process payments for Engagements; and
  • provide the dashboards, messaging and rating tools on the Platform.

Pilots are independent contractors, not employees, workers or agents of FlightPosts.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 and able to enter a binding contract. Businesses must have authority to act for the organisation they represent. Pilots must hold, and maintain for the life of their account, all authorisations required by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and applicable law for the services they list — including, as applicable, a Remote Pilot Licence (RePL) and, where required, operation under a certified Remote Operator Certificate (ReOC) — together with any insurance required under clause 5.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the security of your credentials, and for all activity under your account. Pilot profiles are published only after approval by FlightPosts, and approval may be withdrawn if credentials lapse or cannot be re-verified.

5. Pilot Obligations and Verification

Pilots must:

  • hold and maintain current CASA authorisations appropriate to each Engagement, and operate within them (including type, weight class, airspace and standard operating conditions);
  • hold and maintain public liability insurance of at least $[amount] million covering their drone operations, and provide evidence on request;
  • provide services with due care and skill, in compliance with aviation, safety, privacy and surveillance laws;
  • keep availability, equipment and specialty information current;
  • respond to proposed matches within 24 hours; and
  • perform Engagements personally unless FlightPosts approves a substitute.

FlightPosts verifies licence and insurance details at onboarding and periodically thereafter, but verification is not a guarantee of a Pilot's performance on any particular Engagement.

6. Business Obligations

Businesses must:

  • provide accurate and complete information in each Pilot Request, including any night operations, operations near people, or controlled airspace involved;
  • ensure the requested work is lawful and obtain any landowner, occupier or third-party permissions required for the Engagement site;
  • provide safe site access and disclose known site hazards;
  • review Deliverables and raise any issues within 7 days of delivery, after which Deliverables are taken to be accepted; and
  • pay all amounts due through the Platform.

7. Quotes, Fees and Payment

  • FlightPosts provides Businesses with an all-inclusive quote for each Engagement. The quoted price includes the Pilot's fee and FlightPosts' service margin.
  • Prices are in Australian dollars and inclusive or exclusive of GST as stated on the quote.
  • Payment terms: payment on confirmation, or 7-day invoice for approved accounts.
  • Pilot payout terms: within the business days specified on the quote following Deliverable acceptance.
  • Promotional offers (including any free-listing or guarantee offers) are governed by their own published terms in addition to these Terms.
  • Cancellation: cancellation windows and any fees for Businesses, and no-show consequences for Pilots, are as published.

8. Non-Circumvention

The Platform's matching service is how FlightPosts is paid. For 12 months after being introduced to a Pilot through the Platform, a Business must not engage that Pilot for drone services other than through the Platform, unless it pays FlightPosts a buy-out fee of $[amount]. Pilots must not solicit or accept off-Platform engagements from Businesses introduced through the Platform during the same period.

9. Deliverables and Intellectual Property

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing for an Engagement, ownership of Deliverables transfers to the Business on payment in full, and the Pilot retains the right to use non-confidential Deliverables in their Platform portfolio unless the Business opts out at the time of the Request.
  • The Platform, the FlightPosts and iDrone Corp branding, and the Platform software remain the property of the iDrone Corp group entity or its licensors.
  • You grant FlightPosts a licence to host and display your Content for the purpose of operating and promoting the Platform.

10. Safety and Compliance Review

Pilot Requests indicating operations near people, night operations, controlled airspace or other elevated-risk factors are subject to internal review before matching, and FlightPosts may decline, modify or condition any Request on safety or regulatory grounds. Nothing in this clause transfers a Pilot's regulatory responsibilities to FlightPosts.

11. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, presents a safety, legal or reputational risk, allows credentials to lapse, or repeatedly fails to respond to matches or complete Engagements. You may close your account at any time once open Engagements and amounts owing are resolved.

12. Australian Consumer Law, Liability and Indemnity

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
  • Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, FlightPosts is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from the acts or omissions of a Business or Pilot in connection with an Engagement, except to the extent caused by FlightPosts' own negligence or breach.
  • Where liability can be limited, FlightPosts' total liability is limited to resupply of the relevant service, or the amount paid to FlightPosts for the relevant Engagement (or the amounts paid in the preceding 12 months).
  • Each party indemnifies FlightPosts against third-party claims arising from that party's breach of these Terms, unlawful conduct, or Content, except to the extent caused by FlightPosts.

13. Disputes

Disputes between a Business and a Pilot about an Engagement should be raised through the Platform within 7 days of the issue arising; FlightPosts will facilitate resolution and determine the outcome of the Engagement payment under its Dispute Resolution Policy. Disputes with FlightPosts must first be raised in good faith with support before formal proceedings.

14. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with the FlightPosts Privacy Policy, consistent with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

16. Changes

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notifying account holders. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
